Maddeleine McCann look-alike spotted in Sweden THE SUN featured the photograph of a girl, who was allegedly pictured at a car show in Stockholm, Sweden, in August and who bears a strong resemblance to Madeleine McCann.
Computer-matching showed that her jawline is identical and her eyes are the same colour as Maddie's, and detectives are now hunting for the girl.
After the photo appeared on a website, Swedish police were inundated with calls from the public, including visitors who believed they had seen Maddie at the car show.
The girl was apparently with a man and a woman. The man was Swedish but the girl spoke perfect English. The woman remained silent, and the photographer claims the adults refused to be photographed.
The photographer didn’t get the girl's name, and Swedish police have so far been unable to find her.
This isn’t the first time the search for Maddie has been linked to Sweden.
