I am the person mentioned above and I live at the address previously supplied to the Leicestershire police. I was questioned about I disagreeociation with Gerry and Kate McCann and about my visit to Portugal in the summer of 2007, after the disappearance of their daughter, Madeleine McCann.

I am the owner of a Public Business Consultancy company. During the end of the month of May, beginning of June I was contacted by recruitment consultants who asked me whether I was interested in working for the campaign to find Madeleine McCann. This occurred after some advice given to Kate and Gerry by Alex Woolfall. Alex Woolfall is the public relations officer for Mark Warner.

I agreed to presenting my CV for the appreciation of Kate and Gerry McCann. A short time later I received a phone call from Gerry who asked me a number of questions by phone. It was almost a mini interview that included questions about me and continued to talk about the kind of support that they were looking for. Later I went for another interview in London. I was interviewed by Gerry McCann, John McCann and John Corner. On the same day I agreed to carry out my function which would be to manage the campaign to find Madeleine.

Initially I appeared in an interview with Gerry McCann for Newsnight (BBC news programme) on the same day that I took up my functions. Gerry returned to Portugal some days later, I stayed in the UK and attended meetings in the name of the Campaign. I travelled to Portugal on fiftieth day anniversary of Madeleine’s disappearance, a Friday the 22nd June 2007. I stayed in an apartment in the Mark Warner complex, very close to where Kate and Gerry were staying. This was the same apartment that they were using as an office.
During my stay I would regularly meet with Gerry and Kate. I also regularly collaborated with the world press. Part of my functions was to manage the press communications in the name of Kate, Gerry and Madeleine.

My involvement in the “Find Madeleine” campaign ended on 15 September 2007.

During my time as director of the campaign I made several trips to Portugal.

I did not know Kate and Gerry McCann before May 2007. My relationship with them was purely professional and lasted for 89 days.

I do not remember the dates of the trips but as was mentioned previously, there were several trips. I stayed in the apartment mentioned previously, as well as in another apartment in the same block. I also stayed in hotels in the area for short periods of time. I never noticed anything strange about any of the lodgings.

I spent much time with Kate and Gerry but I am unable to quantify exactly how much time. I would meet them at their apartment as well as in the private villa where they were staying.
Kate and Gerry were in a very frustrating situation, at times I could see that they were under great pressure. They managed to cope with the pressure and I credit them with behaving as true professionals would have done in an identical situation. I remember that on certain days Kate was very tearful and sad. I also remember Gerry’s frustration upon seeing the presentation of some photos of Madeleine one night.

I travelled as a passenger in the Renault Scenic many times, which was driven by Kate and Gerry and their family members, Sandy Cameron and Michael Wright. I cannot specify the number of times that I travelled in the vehicle.

The first time that I travelled inside the vehicle was when I arrived at Faro on the fiftieth day anniversary. At that time the car smelt exactly like what you would expect after having been cleaned by a rental car company. I never noticed unpleasant odours.

Unfortunately I cannot answer the last question because I was obviously not present from the first day they hired the car, neither during the period of the lease. Because of my knowledge of the routine and the amount of members from press that surrounded them, I think it unlikely that they could have hidden or transported Madeleine in the vehicle.

Sou a pessoa acima referênciada e vivo na morada previamente fornecida à policia de Leicestershire. Foi questionada sobre a minha associação a Gerry e Kate McCann e a minha visita a Portugal no Verão de 2007, após o desaparecimento o desaparecimento da filha deles,
Madeleine McCann.
Sou proprietária de uma empresa de Consultadoria de Negócios Públicos. Durante os finais do mês de Maio, inicio do mês de Junho fui contactada por um recruta de consultores que me perguntou se estaria interessada em trabalhar na campnaha para encontrar a Madeleine
McCann. Isto aconteceu na sequência dos conselhos dados a Kate e Gerry por Alex Woolfall.
Alex Woolfall é o consultor de relações públicas do Mark Warner.
Concordei em colocar o meu Curriculum para apreciação de Kare e Gerry McCann. Pouco tempo depois recebi um telefonema do Gerry que colocou um número de questões ao telefone. Foi quase uma mini entrevista que incluia questões sobre mim e passou para o tipo
de apoio que eles precisavam.. Mais tarde compareci a uma outra entrevista em Londres. Fui entrevistada por Gerry McCann, John McCann e John Corner. Nesse mesmo dia concordei em desempenhar a minha função que seria a de gerir a campanha para encontrar a Madeleine.
Inicialmente compareci numa entrevista com Gerry McCann para o Newsnight (programa de noticias da BBC), no memso dia em que iniciei funções. O Gerry regressou a Portugal uns dias depois, eu permaneci no Reino Unido e compareci a reuniões em nome da Campanha.
Viajei para Portugal no quinquagésimo dia do aniversário do desaparecimento de Madeleine, uma Sexta feira, dia 22 de Junho de 2007. Fiquei hospedada num apartamento do complexo do Mark Warner, muito perto de onde Kate e Gerry estavam alojados. Este era o mesmo
apartamento que eles utilizavam como escritório.
Durante a minha estadia encontrava-me com Gerry e Kate regularmente. Também regularmente colaborava com a imprensa mundial. Parte das minhas funções era gerir a comunicação social em nome de Kate, Gerry e Madeleine.
O meu envolvimento na Campanha “Encontre Madeleine” terminou a 15 de Setembro de 2007.
Durante o meu tempo como gerente da campnah efectuei diversas viagens a Portugal.
Não conhecia a Kate e o Gerry McCann antes de Maio de 2007. A minha relação com eles era puramente profissional, a qual durou 89 dias.
Não me recordo das datas das viagens mas como anteriormente citado, foram várias viagens.
Fiquei hospedada no apartamento acima mencionado, bem como num outro no mesmo bloco.
Tambem fiquei alojada em hoteis da zona por pequenos períodos de tempo. Nunca notei nada de estranho em nenhum dos alojamentos.
Dispendi muito tempo com a Kate e o Gerry mas sou incapaz de quantificar exactamente.
Encontrei-me com eles tanto no apartamento como na villa privada onde estavam alojados.
Kate e o Gerry estavam numa situação muito frustrante, por vezes podia ver-se que estavam debaixo de uma grande pressão. Eles conseguiram manusear a pressão e acredito que se portaram como verdadeiros profissionais o teriam feito em situação idêntica. Recordo-me que certos dias a Kate estava muito chorosa e triste. Tambem me recordo da frustração do Gerry ao ver a apresentação de algumas fotos da Madeleine uma noite.
Viajei como passageira no Renault scenic muitas vezes, o qual era conduzido por ambos, Kate e Gerry e seus familiares, Sandy Cameron e Michael Wright. Não posso precisar o número de vezes que viajei na viatura.
A primeira vez que entrei no seu interior foi quando cheguei a Faro no dia do quinquagésimo aniversário. Nessa altura o carro cheirava exactamente ao que era de esperar após ter sido limpo por uma empresa de rent a car. Nunca notei cheiros desagradáveis.
Não posso lamentavelmente responder à ultima questão, porque obviamente não estava presente desde o primeiro dia em que alugaram a viatura, nem durante o período em que durou a contratação. Pelo conhecimento que possuo da rotina e pela quantidade de
comunicação social que os rodeavam, acho pouco provável que pudessem ter escondido ou transportado a Madeleine no veículo.
Este testemunho foi feito por mim e é verdadeiro de acordo com o meu entendimento.
